Tom McClorey

Amateur rider, head lad  and assistant trainer

Tom is a huge part of the team at Holdenby. Before he came to work here he had been very successful show jumping at junior level. He is therefore excellent at educating the horses in both flat work and jumping. He has ridden many point to point and Hunter Chase winners . Tom finished the 2016 season as leading point to point rider in the Midlands Area.  He now has his Cat B license and has ridden winners against the professionals.

Kyran Tompkins

Kyran joined us last season. He has plenty of experience show jumping and has ridden in point to points but has a struggle with his weight. He spent time working for John Fergason when he trained both under rules and point to pointers so he has learnt his trade form one of the best.  He really enjoys racing and loved the challenge of finding the key to the enigmatic Elkstone!
